Final official day of Uni

Well, it’s been four years coming, and today I can officially say that I have completed my degree. Well, as far as the work goes I have. I don’t think it’s really sunk in yet what exactly I have achieved, or even that I’ve finished all the work. I can imagine when I wake up tomorrow and don’t have to worry about what work I should be doing is going to be the point when it does sink in. A part of me thinks that I am going to miss the routine of it all, and my conscious side is telling me to shut the hell up and enjoy the time off.

I know the guilt will creep up too that I haven’t got a job or a place to live yet come the end of June. Hopefully I will be moving in with some friends from Uni and that I will be able to spend the next few years of my life in Swansea. (Those apartments on the waterfront are sooo cute :3 – I want one!). It really is a different place in the sun! It’s that part of it that makes me want to stay here (as well as the friends bit :P). I am looking forward to the next couple of weeks though, because before Uni slowly creeps entirely away from me, I will hopefully get to enjoy some of that sun (if it ever shows up again) with my friends. There’s plenty to do if it rains too – I have so many games I need to finish!

So writing a blog on the final day of my degree might not seem to be the most interesting thing to be doing, but I think I feel the same as most when I say that I am freaking shattered. The last seven weeks have been very tough – rarely having the opportunity to not worry about anything. Lots of days I have spent working more than an 8-hour working day, and I won’t be sorry to see the back of them. Well I think it’s time to wrap up this shambles of a blog and go an lie down for a while.

Ooh before I do go though, thanks to everyone that joined in with Frostys and my meme yesterday. It was really interesting reading what everyone wrote, and I hope that it carries on in the wonderful way that pyramid schemes and tagging work :P. Here’s links to all the blogs I could see where people responded:

I’m sooooo tired still, and I didn’t come to the beach with you guys last night! I’d be posting pictures of that ice cream today, but I can’t find the cable for my phone 😦

  2. for all the bloggers out there…why not get paid for writing blogs for venders. Write a blog and make money.

  3. Also, looks like you let some badly spelt spam get thrugh *tut tut*

  4. Yeah I know, I emailed them to ask whotf they were, but I haven’t got a reply yet. Wonder how that one slipped through the net.

RE: your sis’s top 5 – I completely forgot about Theme Hospital! Every time I play that game it completely grabs my attention until I get to about the penultimate level and then I never complete it!
